Kandy Esala Perahera Route 2025

The Kandy Esala Perahera is a famous religious and cultural procession held every year in Sri Lanka. In 2025, the Perahera will take place over 11 days, with the procession following a different route each day through the streets of Kandy. Each route offers a unique view of this grand event, with traditional dancers, drummers, elephants, and sacred rituals all honoring the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha.
